Please note: DEQX recommends that new DEQX owners first use the official Release Software to become familiar with DEQX technology before downloading and using Beta software. |

| Firmware
Version 58_11 (September 2005) |
The current official release version of the DEQX
firmware.
To upgrade your firmware follow these steps:
1. Download from ver58_11.pdc and
save it to disk.
2. Load up DEQX
3. Establish communications with the PDC
4. Go to Tools->Upgrade Firmware
5. Select Change...
6. Locate the file that you just downloaded and select it
7. Click Upgrade...
If you have any problems with the upgrade, first check the version
number in the IO Manager. If it indicates 58.11.x then all is
well. If you can not power up the PDC, hold down P1,P2,P3 whilst
powering on. This will load "safe mode". You can then try
to upgrade the firmware again, or upload the firmware that was provided
with the original DEQX installation.

| Microphone Calibration
Files |
Each microphone supplied by DEQX is individually calibrated and is engraved
with a serial number. Look for the serial number on your microphone,
then find and download the file containing that number from the list
below. |
