History and Experience
DEQX is an Australian company founded in Sydney in the mid 1990's,
initially under the name of Clarity EQ Pty Limited. In a move
to make the company’s
identity synonymous with its leading-edge digital loudspeaker and
room correction technology, the company officially changed
its name to DEQX Pty Limited in May 2003.
DEQX's founders and R&D team have a three-decade history of pioneering
digital audio innovation. Previous recognition of individual achievements
includes a special award for "Services to Audio" from the Audio
Engineering Society (AES, based in New York) for developing the "sound
sampling synthesizer" and "computer music sequencing".

Today, DEQX is delivering on its promise to make the speaker and
listening room 'transparent', delivering the maximum 'being there'
high-definition audio experience.
The company’s unique measurement and calibration/ correction
algorithms, and phase-correct DSP-based crossovers, cleverly exploit
the full potential offered by the advent affordable floating-point
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for audio applications.

the current state-of-the-art bar none." *
For the first time, speaker designers and even home audio users,
are empowered by DEQX Calibrated™ technology to correct many
of the worst problems that have been inherent to speakers for
decades.
DEQX Calibrated™ is allowing speaker manufacturers to
design loudspeakers which provide levels of accuracy and clarity
approaching those of components such as amplifiers and CDs,
where distortion, frequency and phase response is typically
at least ten times better than even very expensive speakers.
