Designed with acoustic consultants, custom installers and knowledgeable audiophiles in mind, the user interface of the unique DEQX™measurement and installation software lets you see what your ears are hearing.

DEQX's Calibration Kit wizard-based Software InterfaceUsed with the both the PDC-2.6 and the PDC-2.6P (Preamp Model) the DEQX™ Calibration Software is an advanced tool for installers and acoustic consultants.

It provides a wizard-based interface to the DEQX™ measurement and correction generation process, and offers audio professionals options to make informed choices based on experience and personal preference during the installation of the DEQX™ processor as a permanent acoustics correction device in an audio system.

The DEQX™ Basic Calibration Kit microphone is measured and recalibrated in the largest anechoic chamber in the Southern Hemisphere, making it accurate to within ± 0.1 dB.

The DEQX Basic Calibration Kit consists of:

1 x Calibrated Balanced Measurement Microphone

1 x 7-meter Professional Assembled Microphone Cable

1 x 5-meter USB Cable

CD containing DEQX™ Calibration Software (DEQX-Cal) for use on Windows PC or laptop (NB. See minimum PC specifications below)

DEQX Users and Installers Manual

In the DEQX Reference Calibration Kit, the microphone is upgraded to the reference grade Earthworks M30 Wide Band measurement microphone. This ships with a calibration file on disk for use with the DEQX Calibration software.

PC-compatible computer with a Pentium-class processor, 233 MHz or faster

Windows XP Home/Pro or Windows 2000 operating system only (other OS not supported)

120 MB of free space on the hard disk

128 MB RAM
