What is the difference between the PreMate Plus and the PreMate?

Compared to the PreMate, the PreMate Plus has a display/control touchscreen on the front panel, an Ethernet port for network audio streaming (Roon and DLNA), and 12V trigger outputs.

What is the difference between the PreMate Plus and HDP-5?

The PreMate Plus does not have the "High" output (used to drive tweeters in HD-Active systems) and has only a single digital output (the HDP-5 has four digital outputs).

Should I use subwoofers?

In addition to the obvious advantage of extending bass response, the DEQX approach to subwoofer integration also highpasses the main speakers. This reduces cone excursion, thus reducing distortion and increasing resolution!

Can you calibrate the speakers (and subwoofers) for me?

Yes! We can. In fact, we include it for free when you buy a DEQX. Be sure to book your first DEQXpert session soon after receiving your new DEQX to make sure you get the best out of it.
